RADIKA OBEYESEKERE - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Radika currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID). With over a decade of experience in Sri Lanka’s private and development sectors, specializing in the areas of commercial, legal, trade and investment facilitation, she previously held the positions of Director Marketing for Dipped Products PLC (a part of the Hayleys Group), Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce (Sri Lanka) serving as Regional Vice Chair for South and Central Asia on the Board of the Asia Pacific Council for American Chambers of Commerce (comprising of 28 AmChams in the Asia-Pacific region), Research Officer – Legal & Governance and thereafter as a Private Sector Development Analyst for the Asian Development Bank (SLRM). 

Radika was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, is a law graduate from the University of London and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM – UK). She was awarded the “Women Leadership Achievement Award” by the World Women Leadership Congress in February 2016 and “Best Performance in Sri Lanka” by CIM UK in 2008. 

SARAH HEDWIGE – MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Sarah Hedwige is the Business Development Manager of The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors. She holds a Bachelors in Business from the RMIT University in Australia and a Diploma in Management from the Raffles Institute in Singapore. Her work experience includes a number of roles in the areas of sales, management and administration.  

RUWAN WIJESINGHE – MANAGER FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION 

Ruwan currently works as the Manager Finance & Administration for SLID. He is qualified with MSc in Finance.  He is a member of CIMA (UK) and has completed CIMA Cert BA. He has 11 years of prior experience in the fields of event management and finance industry. He is an expert in computerized accounting software packages and is highly skilled in this area.   

AHILA SUBATHEESH - MANAGER – PROGRAM & POLICY

Sudharshani Ahila Subatheesh is the Program and Policy Manager of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors who holds Masters in International Relations from the University of Colombo and Masters in Molecular Science from the University of Nottingham. She has more than seven years of prior experience in the development sector working for the UN, INGOs, NGOs and think tanks.
