Leads SLID’s commitment to continuous professional development by developing high-quality learning opportunities for directors, aspiring directors and senior business leaders.

Central to its mandate is oversight of the Board Leadership Training (BLT) Programme — with regular reviews of course content, delivery methods, and the introduction of highly experienced resource persons — alongside seminars, workshops, and masterclasses on emerging governance topics. The ETC also builds knowledge resources and research partnerships to keep members abreast of best-in-class boardroom practices.

Through collaborations with universities, professional bodies, and reputed institutions, the Committee pursues joint certification and executive education initiatives, and manages accreditation for SLID’s learning programmes. In doing so, it enhances member value through structured learning pathways and elevates governance capability and boardroom effectiveness nationally.
