Your Road to the StageFrom Application to Awards Night

Every application is reviewed independently, decided on by an eminent panel of judges and checked by an external audit firm.

  1. 23 Oct 2026Applications open
  2. 30 Nov 2026Last day to apply, 12 noon
  3. Technical ReviewIndependent evaluators shortlist applicants in each category
  4. Final DeliberationA panel of at least 5 distinguished judges decides the winners
  5. Independent AssuranceResults validated by an external audit firm
  6. 10 Feb 2027Awards Night

Is This You?Who Can Apply

  • Board director of a listed, private, state or not-for-profit entity in Sri Lanka
  • Held the nominated role for at least 3 years
  • Under 70 on 31 Dec 2026 (Lifetime Achievement: over 65)
  • Endorsed by your board or governing council
  • Organisations: public sector bodies and registered private companies
  • Open to SLID and ACCA members and non-members
  • Not eligible: companies in breach of SEC or CSE rules. No canvassing.

Four Simple StepsHow to Apply

    Download

    Choose the Individual or Organisational form and read the guidelines below.

  2. 2

    Get Endorsed

    Your board, or for organisations the governing council, endorses the nomination. Add a proposer, who must not be on the SLID Council.

  3. 3

    Email It

    Send the form and a one-page profile to awards@slid.lk. Organisations also attach their annual report.

  4. 4

    Hand In the Hard Copy

    Deliver the signed original plus one copy to the SLID Secretariat, Room 966, 9th Floor, Courtyard Wing, Cinnamon Grand Colombo, by 30 November 2026, 12 noon.
