WHO ARE WE?
Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) is an organization focused on empowering today’s Directors with insights and skills to take on their roles while preparing a new generation of Boardroom Leaders for the challenges of tomorrow. Currently over 950 business leaders representing private and public sectors are part of the membership of SLID.
WHAT DO WE DO?
The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors is part of the prestigious Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI). This network consists of 21 international Institutes of Directors, each recognised as the foremost authority on directors and governance in their respective countries. SLID members will be exposed to international expertise in directorship and corporate governance while staying abreast of emerging global governance issues and collaborating to strengthen the voice of directors in advocating for good governance policies and practices on a global platform.
WHAT IS THE
SLID DIRECTOR
CONFERENCE?
The SLID Director Conference scheduled to be held on 29th of October 2024, will bring together over 150 Directors from various fields to engage in multiple interactive sessions by speakers, who will introduce novel insights towards our macro-theme:
‘The Courage to be Bold’.
The event will provide exclusive technical training and networking opportunities and instill a new approach to how business leaders pursue targets.
We believe not in merely thinking outside the box but having the courage to redefine the box entirely.
